The thrill of an eye candy behind your back couldn’t possibly match up to the minute when the credits were rolling, and he halted at the aisle and turned his eyes on me. For a moment, I thought it was seat-stealing-revenge time seriously. And it takes no genius to figure this out; he was waiting for yours truly in exchange for a better understanding of ME. But before he could utter his first word (or prolly asking for my number), my legs acted not in accordance with the brain. I actually walked away! Yes I did!! All I could do was my head turned and returned a beautiful Smile with the legs persistently walking towards the washroom. Argh!!! What the hell is wrong with my neurotic system?! Damn.

Passionate old flames rekindled with macho MochaFrap as well while we sat there people watching. A good 3months of my disappearance from this space does make the hearts grow fonder, don’t you?

Many a times, I tried penning some words, and each time, I found myself backspacing till it returns to the same old blank page. Perhaps that’s how it is depicting my life so far, frozen at its same old zone.

Not that procrastination has eaten my self up. It’s just that life at its reverse gear is definitely a slippery downhill, once it slides; it’s onerous to be up its prime again.
Or maybe, I need to hit the new low to get myself bounce all the way up again. I can be that masochist.

Turning the clock back, I would gladly sum my past 100days, a disastrous drama.

Well, it might occur to most that I have been leading high glorious flamboyant days judging from my gazillion party’s pictures on the tool of all evils, facebook. Yes, with big bang parties and holy water, brings ultimate fun and no doubts, the cool floating sensation. But hell, trust me; reality slaps you straight on the face once sobriety hits you. The amount of ridicule I performed could easily earn me an Oscar nominee. Serious.

Besides all the preposterous acts that come from the undue influence of intoxication, I put on a compelling stage play in work previously. No, it’s not the archetypal theatrical Shakespeare’s in love, (I don’t eat & shit at the same place remember), it’s literally me battling Medusa. In fact, it’s Medusa and her sister, Stheno, which makes 2 venomous monsters. And it became a joke of how I actually have to stoop down to a 3 year old behavior to fight my rights through. In a nutshell, triumph belongs to the good when the curtains drew.

Then it comes to the episodes of f.r.i.e.n.d.s. Similarly, nothing right could be found on top of all wrongs. Just like when one element of your days crumples, God damn it, all shit silently befall on you altogether. Heated disputes between chums got fierier when habitual compliance no longer applies. Unsympathetic crudity fired off cold wars, following by the broken ring of fellowship. And it doesn’t help when both ends were born really strong headed.

So you see why the disinclination to pen down my melancholies of those grey days.

Then again, when the going gets tough, the tough gets going.

The rainbow appears at the end of my tunnel along with my resolution to abstain from the holy water. No jokes dudes, I’m clear from ‘it’ since the beginning of March. Even I’m impressed by my own strength of mind. Such lucid outlook certainly aids in self deliberation, though generally washed with tears and guilt. Now that Breezy Aly’s Phase III is resuming, let passé be it woman. At least air cleared and you are idyllic now.

Of course, the route back to happyness will not be possible without those who gave me a good push when I thought my world is collapsing. Thanks MissyD, MissyC, my sex-in-the-city girls, Mr Hippo, Mr Viky … for sharing and being my aunt agony. 

Summing it all, Aly’s philosophy of life:

finally!

It’s been long, so long till I faced problems with my L and R articulation after my royal butt returned home. Protracting days abroad seriously drained yours truly vim & vigor’s, almost to a complete zilch. It’s a marvel how I did live through after all.

Oh well, who’s the Wonder-Woman again?

So they always say, flying days supposed to be fun, no? Well, not when you have to be constantly on the toes I supposed. Try flying every alternate day, changing your hotel every 2 consecutive days and full capacity itineraries on the list. Those days felt eon, and adding on, a complete still.

Plus it doesn’t really help when I have to be hospitalized one fine snowy day. That day my calves decided to fail on me, there I thought I will be a perpetual eye-candy, but wheelchair-bound. I swear that was the ever-most-daunting moment in my decades of livings. Yes, try sprinting in altitudes of 4000 over metres, climbing steps (1000) after steps (2000), ascending and descending repeatedly, all in the cold of -10degree and see if your poor little calves retaliate, says Dr. Hero.

Besides, birthday abroad was a whole new sane experience of course. Picture the cake devoid of those lil-much-loved bitches slapping me with bubbly Champagne and Red. Pathetic

Sans the negativity, I never would have loved my nearest and dearest (homeland inclusive) like before honestly. Appreciation fostered, Love matured and Existence redefined.

Lucky or not, I was exposed to the worlds of different caste systems. Clichéd as it is, seeing is indeed believing. I witnessed the true significance of having nothing yet everything. What fortunate bitches we are really.

Besides, last week was my best ever party went. Firstly, the free flow of Chivas was undeniably good; secondly, the company together was way rocking. Well it could be the aftermath of some Phelps’ inspiration, or, I have finally come clear to acknowledge the becoming of a couch potato over the last whole month.

So, running shoes back on the track, goggles tighten, badminton returning to the courts.

As cliché as it could be, I reaped what I sow. My KPE 10km tunnel run turned out to be a recordable testimony. Then again, the minutes clocked could have been better sans the stifling conditions and the sardine-packed crowd. The deprivation of fresh air and sufficient light should deserve us a better indemnity I thought.

It’s been long since I last kissed the Sentosa sun. I remember the last 6times I parked my royal butt there, (in May alone), I was always caressed by the tender moonlight. Yes, I’m actually that nocturnal.

Last Sunday was a first without the conventional flour cake.
