finally!

It’s been long, so long till I faced problems with my L and R articulation after my royal butt returned home. Protracting days abroad seriously drained yours truly vim & vigor’s, almost to a complete zilch. It’s a marvel how I did live through after all.

Oh well, who’s the Wonder-Woman again?

So they always say, flying days supposed to be fun, no? Well, not when you have to be constantly on the toes I supposed. Try flying every alternate day, changing your hotel every 2 consecutive days and full capacity itineraries on the list. Those days felt eon, and adding on, a complete still.

Plus it doesn’t really help when I have to be hospitalized one fine snowy day. That day my calves decided to fail on me, there I thought I will be a perpetual eye-candy, but wheelchair-bound. I swear that was the ever-most-daunting moment in my decades of livings. Yes, try sprinting in altitudes of 4000 over metres, climbing steps (1000) after steps (2000), ascending and descending repeatedly, all in the cold of -10degree and see if your poor little calves retaliate, says Dr. Hero.

Besides, birthday abroad was a whole new sane experience of course. Picture the cake devoid of those lil-much-loved bitches slapping me with bubbly Champagne and Red. Pathetic

Sans the negativity, I never would have loved my nearest and dearest (homeland inclusive) like before honestly. Appreciation fostered, Love matured and Existence redefined.

Lucky or not, I was exposed to the worlds of different caste systems. Clichéd as it is, seeing is indeed believing. I witnessed the true significance of having nothing yet everything. What fortunate bitches we are really.

Anyway, the bleating goes on and on. Let’s trade those scandalous affair with an icy mocha frap, I promise you luscious details, in my ever inexhaustible dramatic kinky breath. *wink

Besides, last week was my best ever party went. Firstly, the free flow of Chivas was undeniably good; secondly, the company together was way rocking. Whistles, Rain Sprinklers, high adrenaline rush and all forms of dance stances readily showed off in the hub of the pool. Oh I’m such a party-goer who literally let down my hair that very night, not any near to getting wasted surprisingly.

 What’s more, last week was pushed to a blast when Formula1 passes were given to me, at no cost! Muscles tension is on the run these days!

Well it could be the aftermath of some Phelps’ inspiration, or, I have finally come clear to acknowledge the becoming of a couch potato over the last whole month.

So, running shoes back on the track, goggles tighten, badminton returning to the courts.

Yes, you read it right, days of sports and Aly, back.

As cliché as it could be, I reaped what I sow. My KPE 10km tunnel run turned out to be a recordable testimony. Then again, the minutes clocked could have been better sans the stifling conditions and the sardine-packed crowd. The deprivation of fresh air and sufficient light should deserve us a better indemnity I thought.

The kicking in of maternal instinct is morphing into my new weed, far addictive.

Besides the usual routine of crawling into my bedspread each morning, my boy now adopts another dying-cute action – a care bear hug, to greet my perfect morning. How sweet can little kiddos get.

 
 

In reciprocate to the action of my perpetual cutie, I took him with me to the library and a treat for a Wall-E. The real challenge came when I was left speechless to my boy questions in the theatre.

1st Sept next year will be my celebration, if I agreed on the offer of becoming a civil servant. Then, Miss Chio will be the salutation for those kiddos. Great.

Put away academic teachings, they are certainly certified for an educator designation in molding the soul of our young minds. My savoirvivre for once is shaped under their rattans and bitching sessions. And I’m glad they did it that way contrasting myself and the cyber-generation today.

Besides, my Hakka, Cantonese and Mahjong wouldn’t be that proficient without them.
Trust me, this funky bunch of women have lots for me to learn from still.

Thereafter,

- Insane feast of Japanese Cuisine
(at least a good 28 different selection of double serving each!)

- and a bottle of icy Cold Sake
 

Then straight after,

10:30pm @ West Coast Mac:
- Cappuccino
- Ice cream cone
- Oreo Cheese Cake

Do the simple math, the amount of calories intake is way a-t-r-o-c-i-o-u-s!

It’s been long since I last kissed the Sentosa sun. I remember the last 6times I parked my royal butt there, (in May alone), I was always caressed by the tender moonlight. Yes, I’m actually that nocturnal.

Monday sun-kissing escape would be a perfect 4 if nana doesn’t have to start her duty in SMG. And it would be the tangible 4some doing sex-and-the-city-beach if not. Well, there will always be more chances up ahead. And I supposed it’s gonna be us bitching on Miami Beach then. Awesome.

The 9 hours long of rays was way satisfying when our triumph victory bikinis were fully exploited under the viewfinder of my ixus. 262 pictures on all 3 beaches say all about our lunacy.

The day would be so much better if it wasn’t infested with those freaking irritating and uncouth aliens. I swear I nearly threw a camera down the water if I was a little more impulsive. So stay away from me you little dark aliens.

Birthday.

Last Sunday was a first without the conventional flour cake.
Then again, the usual 6tables of joie de vivre once again.

Empress is officially eighty, 8-0. Woah.

So, I see a month of mental getaway happening in my humble abode.

Summing up my little July,

1. I practiced lots of deliberation, for the better of mind body & soul
2. I exhibited a prodigious form of cyclical hibernation
3. I lost count of the amount of junk food and droll youtube intakes

And this is absolutely life indulgence, so I say.

Then again my keen followers - at the cost of nest egg depletion remember!

Besides the divine rejuvenation, I had my fun with babies in arms. Well, not those moments of boo-hoo-hoos and soiled diapers. But kiddos rolling on my bed together, with hugs and kisses from different little ones.

Shit, my maternal instinct is kicking in again.

HongKong / Macau Insanity

So, it was my 3rd flying in June, and my wildest weight gaining trip of all.

Horizontally challenged issues aside, the burnt in my pocket alone was awfully horrendous. I was so extremely disinclined to click open my credit updates.
That was indeed a moment of hell.

Super HongKong Day 1

Having a super Kiasu mummy, she chose the earliest flight that we could hop on, yes those even before the dawn breaks. I swear I didn’t even sleep the night before so that punctuality doesn’t become an issue.

Re-visiting HongKong after a good old 2years was something refreshing. Although my Cantonese has slightly improved since then, (I think), my attempts of faking a native were exposed all the time.

I was so glad we had a nice convivial hotel this time round. Free shuttle services inclusive certainly make our stay even better. And yummy bakeries encircling every corners of our vicinity, it explained all about our exceedingly high carbo intake there.

Our first dinner was surprisingly not of any local delight, but an eat-all-you-can Korean BBQ. Either we were all just too hungry, or simply too excited with the trip, the food was served, non-stop. And that marked the beginning of our nightmarish mass growth!

Super HongKong Day 2 – ( Macau )

Breakfast was hearty and rushing, when we didn’t want to miss the first few boat rides to Macau. Yes Singaporean’s Kiasu-ism displayed fully. And my advice for those with motion sickness, prepare yourself with puking bag in the pricey one hour ride. There were moments I thought I was on some roller coaster ride.

To actually learn that Macau is only half of our lion-city on my virgin trip there. And it is definitely infested with Casinos I swear. Oh, having a SIA traveling mate was positively beneficial when we could get the Venetian Suite at half of the exorbitant rate!

The Venetian Suite is incredibly remarkable I say. The bathroom is comparable to the Durai’s – of glass paneled shower and gold-plated tap, and accommodating 5persons in a suite is nevertheless, spacious still.

Because of the continual light shower, we missed the happening flea market that we were all looking forward to. Shiatz. Then again, we managed to get ourselves to the #1 well-known pastry shop, when boxes & boxes of cookies were purchased, which you my dear friend, get to happily taste those air-flown cookies.

They were damn heavy and cumbersome really. Think Aly swearing while carrying. But well, what to do. What’s a nice sweet friend for.

Crab Noodles and Congee with Macau Beer was the perfect match for a dinner after battling through the cookies combat zone. My arms did survive from the weighty boxes after all, when I could actually fight for the lip-smacking pincer.

The night continued its verve with shopping in Venetian Mall – a replica of Vegas so they say, and my disturbing of the man of arts. I wasn’t trying to be evil; it was a test of the white man tolerance. We had our drinks with the live band, when our dedicated songs, weren’t sung.
