Happy New Year
Published: January 1, 2008
Happy New Year, 新年おめてとございます!!!
I had a busy and eventful Year 2007 and without me noticing, is a brand new year again. Time flies. I totally agreed but life still goes on.
We forget the unhappiness, remember all excellent moments and look forward to a bright and happy new year. I am working towards my dream, and I can't wait for it to happen. The first step I did was to re-sign-up for my Japanese lesson. My new focus.
Anyway, I had a wonderful BBQ and games section with my uni-mates. The wind was too strong that we didn't even bother to take pictures. But we had a great view of the fireworks.
God bless everyone in 2008.

Xmas Parties
Published: December 25, 2007
Merry Merry Christmas!!!
I had a busy 3-days Xmas celebration. First, it was my family Xmas party. All I can describe it was a lot of people, presents and food, not forgetting the noises and laughters we created. Haha, it was so fun. Next, I had a BLACK
Xmas celebration with my PSP-ians on Xmas eve. We were "ordered" to wear black and had our dinner at a Chinese restaurant named Hei She Hui aka Underworld, Vivo City. Afterwhich, we had our white wine, snacks and fire sparkers at Labrador Park. Excellent day. On Xmas day, my cousins and I had a small gathering. We did our cooking and I almost burn down the kitchen. Let's forget about cooking, I will just in-charge of eating in the future. And 5 of us
finished up a bottle of Choya. "NICE...", quoted from Mr CK.
Family Xmas Party

Setting up the gift exchange corner.

Our food.

Our Santa Claus - my uncle.

The organisers.

Dec Babies Birthday Cake and Xmas Log Cake sponsored by Vanessa.

Celebrating Dec Babies Birthday. And everyone were so game for it to celebrate everyone's birthdays in different months at one go. We sang 12 times of birthday songs.

Lucky Draws for our 12 families and my grandparents as the guest of honour.

Our 大姐大 bought presents for the smaller cousins.

The time for massive cousins gift exchange.

My cousin's hubby surprised her by buying her a LV wallet.
PSP-ians Xmas Celebration

Hei She Hui - some of our dishes.

Waiting for the dishes, damn long.

The men and women in black.

Everyone and me.

Cheers to our friendship.

Lovely night.
Xmas Day

I just stood aside and wait for food to be ready. Haha.

Finished up by Vanessa, Boy, Diana, Joey and me.

Merry Till The Last Bit (I Made It)
Published: March 4, 2007
To conclude the 15-days of CNY, I must say I managed to sustain the merry of this festive season till the last bit. Well, it's time to catch my breath. I am tired. In chinese term, to rest is to walk further. Yea, I totally agreed as there is a list of activities awaiting. How am I going to enjoy without ample rest.
CNY Day 11. My company had our CNY luncheon and loy-hei. The excitement was not really there as I was having
some serious cough. Sick.
CNY Day 12. Indecisive. Eventually, I decided to watch Protege with my colleagues at VivoCity. Though this is some old school movie, but I like the story and filming tactics. Not to mention that my favorite man, Daniel Wu is featured in the movie. I am in love with him. Hee =D
CNY Day 13. Cancelled the gathering at my house as I altercated with my dad. Who cares!!! I am just one rebellious
kid. I went dinner at Raffles Shopping Centre Thai Express. Afterwhich, I met up all my cousins at Vanessa's house to have chocolate fondue and top shell feast.

CNY Day 14. Worked on a Saturday. Just another wedding ceremony. This one was some church wedding. The ceremony took a long time with its prayer and what-so-ever. Meanwhile, I borrowed my tenant's kitchen to make top shell. This was my first time making some dish other than instant noodles. Hahaha =p I guess I managed to deliver
the goods. I left half way through and festinated to my colleague, Lyn's house for potluck gathering. I was exhausted
that I fell asleep at her sofa when watching comedy. In the evening, I met up with my cousins. It took us a drag before we decided to have a drink at Sentosa Beaufort Hotel. Jazz music, wind breeze and the cozy ambience made me relax my mind and body. Our stomachs were complaining its hunger, therefore we headed to Bukit Timah Al-Azar for supper. What a contrast!!! Two different levels of eateries in a night. We delighted.

Squeezed ourselves to Beaufort (taken at the back of Vanessa's car).

CNY Day 15. Last but not least. Not giving up the last day of CNY. I just wanted to maximise the last day by watching Just Follow Law at Jurong Point. It's just another Jack Neo shit. Two things that interest me are Fann Wong's acting
and the realistic of the story. Fann went all out for the movie. I really respect her for that. Good job. Total change of impression.

Still no interest in going home, we gathered at Vanessa's house for top shell. Eat again!!! Nothing new. Haa, let's get fat.

Chinese New Year Craze
Published: February 28, 2007
Five more days to the end of CNY. The dying down CNY mood this year makes me wanna re-create the exhilaration of CNY, so here comes the excitement. From the pre-CNY bedroom renovation to all gatherings to the parties, I guess I have intoxicated the high spirits of CNY again.
Spotlight Hong Kong in Singapore had finally ended. It's a great chance to work with the Hong Kong-ers. They are a bunch of easy-going and fun-to-be-with friends. I kind of miss their Hong Kong accent.

The Arts House/Hong Kong Fringe Club staff and our interns from Lasalle.
Just a week before the Chinese New Year, I managed to give my bedroom a new appearance. The credit goes to Hansen, my mum and my brother, who put in alot of time and effort in helping to change the image of my room. Not forgetting the contractors too. I know it was a bit rush but I succeeded. This needed a lot of sacrifices - 45 hours lost of sleep, exhausted all my energy and ended up with a frail body. A comfy nest is the end result. I think it worth all sacrifices.

My enormous wardrobe, my immense bed (to me) and part of my collection. Proudly presents Chilli Padi's new bedroom.
A surprise gift (flowers, bear and watch) from a good friend on Valentines' Day. Thanks for the thought, really
appreciate it. It's a long decade.

My little boyfriend (oops, this title hasn't got approval from his mummy yet), Lance's 4-years-old birthday celebration on the eve of eve of CNY. A fortunate, handsome chap with a party full of entertainment - magic performance, "tattoo" drawing, bubbles game and more. Everyone simply loves him.

A warm and gleeful reunion dinner at my gong-gong & po-po's house led to overjoy, forgetting to take any photos. Ah, such a waste!!! A day we shared all our happiness, unhappiness and experiences. A day my family gathered for good.
A day to conclude the previous year. A day marked another milestone of my big family.

CNY Day 1. The start of the merriment. All members of the Mighty Ongs gathered at my wai-gong & wai-po's house. As what we did in the past, we lamed together, joked and gambled. When the sky started to turn dark, my family of five headed to my gong-gong & po-po's house. A place where the Tan Family assembled. Many red packets were gifted from my relatives on that day. It's always the day I feel the sudden of wealth. Haa =p

Did we discuss our color combination!!! 2 greens, 2 yellows, 2 reds and 2 creams. Such a coincidence.

Random pictures.

2 adults turned kids.

The real kids.
How can we forget our annual CNY Day 1 night activity? Clubbing!!! I just couldn't remember when this became a must-must event. Finally, we were able to ditch Gotham Penthouse and found our new love, Zouk/Phuture. Yea, everyone at last has a minimum age of 18. Do you know how hard it was in the past to sneak those M-18 into the club??? Only Gotham Penthouse is willing to take the risk. Goodbye my dear, I am sorry, I still preferred Zouk/Phuture.
It was a night hell of fun. Over one thousand notes were spent. The fun has no word(s) to describe. The pictures expressed our joy.

Toast to Mighty Ongs.

Here presents The Mighty Ongs.

You don't even want to count the drinks we ordered.

Girls power!!!

Threesome!!!

Two of us!!!

The Flaming Lamborghini - Everybody let's get high!!!

High High High!!!
CNY Day 2. After a pretty good rest, we had another family gathering at Diana's house. The fun never start on Day 1
and end on the same day. NEVER. We had sushi and loy-hei.

CNY Day 3. My family did not attend my wai-gong birthday celebration. Argh, my brothers and I missed the cousins group photo. Damn, I am jealous.

That day, we reunited the Tan Family again at my house. Afterwhich, delicacy of my dad, everybody had dinner at Thai Shark Fin Restaurant.

CNY Day 4. Returned to work. No mood at all. I was still in my CNY mode. The sad part was my dear friend, Andrew
left Lion City for the Mu-Mu Land. It's either four years or forever. Farewell my dear, good luck in your future. Study hard for your own good and make it big. Thanks for all your care and concern these years. I truly appreciate what you had said to me. You know my thoughts too. My apology (you know what I mean). A promise to you, never will forget you as a friend. May god bless you. After sending him off at the airport, a few of us went dinner at Bugis area. Four of us nearly knocked down by a Red Mazda 2 while waiting for a cab. F***, it was a close shave. We did not managed to take down the carplate number of this insober, insane, irresponsible and "ugly" female who did not even bother about our safety. Anyway, we are safe and sound.
CNY Day 5. Just as my colleagues and I felt the blase of work during CNY, we decided to have a good dinner and do some retail therapy at VivoCity. Found this restaurant named "Hei She Hui" for dinner which I personally think it's quite cool. Check out their full-mirrored washroom.

Pictures grabbed from Yvonne's site. Thanks.
CNY Day 6. It was a long 2-day before my long waiting weekends. It was a doom Friday at work. Immediately
after work, I met my cousins at Citylink for dinner before we proceeded to Diana's house to gamble. This was my first time on the table this CNY. Fortunately, I managed to win some money. Hee =D
CNY Day 7. My polymates had our yearly CNY gathering at Adrian's house. His aunt cooked us some curry which was yummy. It was a pretty packed saturday. Hurried home as the Mighty Ongs were at my house. Delicacy of my dad
again, this time round was for the Ong Family, we had dinner at the Beer Garden Restaurant.

Happy Birthday to Everyone!!!

The Lovely Couple. Happy Birthday to my Wai-Gong too!!!

Jubilate.

They have new daughters. Where is the real one???

Our 3 Bengali holding hands.
The night didn't end so fast. The perfect 10 went St James Powerhouse with 4 of my cousin's colleagues. Another thousand were spent. Our liver were burn out once more.

Pictures non-stop.

Too much toxic in my stomach.

I love myself. Wahaha =p

Hee.

We love to attract attention!!!
CNY Day 8. PSP gathering at a Thai restaurant along Bukit Timah Road. After lunch, I finally purchased my table lamp and fan at IMM. Island-wide competition, haha =p, we headed to Westmall for movie, Dreamgirls. I wouldn't say it is fantastic. But their vocal are awesome. I still preferred Beyonce as Jennifer Hudson was too much of screaming.

CNY Day 9. Work. Peace. Rest.
CNY Day 10. This happened only a few hours ago. The queen and princesses met up for their royal dinner and tea session.
The CNY vibes continue... Cheers!!!

Happy New Year!!!
This New Year day is perfect, for all you have dreamed.
A whole year that will bring you, the wishes you wishing for.
A home, blessed with contentment, good fortune and good health all year through.
And also prosperity, joy with much happiness in endless ways.
As 2007 dawns upon us, it is time to pause and briefly reflect.
How to better ourselves, consideration for all to greater effect.
Treat each day as a New Year day, to allow you to restart as a new refreshing and better person.
With this opportunity, I will like to send my gratitude to all my family members, friends and colleagues for all your love, help, care and concern throughout the past year and hopefully many years to come. Thank you for tolerating this naughty pussy. Pardon me for my naiveness. You guys have been GREAT. Without you, Cheryl will never enjoy her life. It's you who fill up my life with colors of happiness. You people rox. I love you all.
Have a FUN-TASTIC 2007.
