Happy Wedding Day.

While the bride was busy with her guests, we took many random pictures. The bride joined in half way too. Haha.

Where is the bridegroom? I can't find him in any of the pictures. Hah.

One Year = 365 Days
Published: August 21, 2007
Today marks my first anniversary with The Arts House. Time flies, before I knew it, a year has passed. I can't believe I make it for a year. Haa. It is really a pleasure to work in this small but ambitious company. Great colleagues, many opportunities for learning, some grudges to vent, of course fatigue at times and a lot of happiness to share. How many more years to go? No one knows. Shall wait and see. The rest, only for me to know. Happy One Year Anniversary to myself.

Pls support the following Arts House's events.

Singapore River Market

Enjoy a leisurely family day out or a romantic evening stroll with your partner, all to the tune of exceptional live music
and entertainment, scrumptious eats and an eclectic shopping experience by the gorgeous Singapore Riverfront!

The Singapore River Market will host more than 70 stalls featuring unique local as well as international wares – artwork, homeware, clothing, accessories, home-made food, and more – providing a wonderfully fresh alternative to
the increasingly standard fare that malls deliver.  Shop within the air-conditioned comfort of The Arts House, or grab an ice-pop and hop outdoors to enjoy a spot of shopping along the sunny, breezy riverfront.

Or BYO – bring your own picnic blankets and baskets, that is – and catch the sun’s rays out on the grassy lawn, while enjoying live music and the entertaining antics of buskers!

Prague Sinfonia Orchestra - First Movements

Singapore’s very own international violinist, Min Lee, along with the Prague Sinfonia Orchestra, present best loved works from classical greats Vivaldi, Haydn, Mozart, Mendelssohn and Beethoven.

Born as an expanded version of the Prague Chamber Orchestra, this highly acclaimed 'orchestra of the Velvet Revolution' launched by Vaclav Havel has toured the US, Europe and Asia to multiple accolades and worked with notable composers and soloists.

Christian Benda conducts this series of first movements at the Esplanade Concert Hall. A descendant of the Czech Benda composer dynasty of the eighteenth century, Benda’s engagements have taken him to music centers such as Vienna and Budapest, and brought collaboration with singers such as Renee Fleming, as well as soloists Lazar Berman and Cristina Ortiz.

This benefit concert also features young artistes Gabriel Lim, Choon Hong Yi and Ho Qian Hui. All ticket proceeds will go towards The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund and The Business Times Budding Artists Fund.

Singapore International Story Telling Festival

Come celebrate the art of storytelling with outstanding storytellers from Singapore and around the world, as they share the various ways stories can enrich your life, abilities or skills, and bring to life, tales old and new. Whatever your age
or profession or station in life, there is something for everyone!

On a side note, I finally got my car - Madza 3 SP 1.6L Luxury Pearl White. Hehe.

The End: Racial Harmony Celebrations 2007
Published: June 25, 2007
Racial Harmony Celebrations took place at my work venue on 27 May 2007. It finally declared an end after the post event reports were sent out to our various partners. Weeks of preparation. A thousand calls. It's one of the insane projects which involved almost the whole company. Madness. More than 3,000 publics participated in the programme, and good comments from various organisations and individuals. Hmm, how about the feedback from us? Exhausted? Racial Harmonious? Company Bonding? Lots to improve? Good Publicity? Well, long story along the way, I would say "it's 'FUN' packing goodies bags". I will never forget the notebooks and stickers, and of course the 3,000 goodies bags with 14 items in a bag. Peace.

Side Track
I was so embarassed on Thursday midnight. Furthermore, it was in front of a cute guy. Arh... damn!!! Hehe =D What really happened? Lyn and I were at the airport welcoming the 2 dancers from Hong Kong. It was my first time putting
up a signage and waited for someone I never met before; though Lyn was the one who did it. I was just helping to
keep a look out. All of us were ready to go when I could'nt start my car. Panicked!!! I locked my steering wheel. Being experienced in driving but car-function idiot, I called my dad for help and tried a few times before the car got started. My godness, I almost freaked out as I really thought I would never start the engine. Phew. My mind was blank after the whole incident. That resulted in turning the wrong way and delayed a little bit of time to the hotel. Perhaps it was that cute guy that made me blur. Wahaha =p
