hrīḥ on a Lotus
The symbol in the middle is hrīḥ, the seed syllable (bīja) of Amitabha.
The Lotus is the emblem of Amitabha.
And Amitabha is the protector of those born in the year of the pig, yes me.
The Zodiac Protectors are as follows:
Avalokitesvara (千手千眼观音) - Rat (鼠)
Akasagarbha (虚空藏菩萨) - Ox (牛), Tiger (虎)
Manjusri (文殊师利菩萨) - Rabbit (兔)
Samantabadra (普贤菩萨) - Dragon (龙), Snake (蛇)
Maha-Sthama-Prapta (大势至菩萨) - Horse (马)
Vairocana (大日如来) - Goat (羊), Monkey (猴)
Acala (不动明王) - Rooster (鸡)
Amitabha (阿弥陀佛) - Dog (狗), Pig (猪)

I mentioned 新加坡佛牙寺, or Buddha Tooth Relic Temple (Singapore) (BTRTS). I visited this temple on the eve of Vesak Day '07 when it first opened. Exterior - Grand. Interior - Magnificent! You can't imagine the amount of effort, and gold, used in the construction of this temple. Beautifully carved buddha idols. Fascinating.

When you hate, do you really hate the person?
A person is made up of so many attributes, A to Z, good and bad.
Many times we go "Oh he's alrite as a person, but sometimes it just pisses me off when he does this and that."
It is the "this and that" which the hate is directed at. And these are the attributes of the person.
On the surface, a person may exhibit a combination of several bad attributes e.g. F, C, U, K, E, and R.
But close to the heart, he may still have a nice mix of good attributes e.g. A, N, G, E, and L.
And so, you may hate the hell of that FUCKER when the person is behaving like one, but can still accept him overall for some of his ANGELic qualities.
Unless your FUCKER attributes are so dominant in you, else nah... I don't hate you, I just hate one of your attibute that is "U".
